Journeying in Synodality

About 750 diocesan clergy from all over Mindanao will gather at KCC Convention Center in the Archdiocese of Zamboanga on February 10-12, 2026. Journeying in synodality, these workers in the vineyard of the Lord in this southern part of the country gather every year bringing together in one their experiences of diverse culture. What makes them one is the one mission of Christ, their communion with Him, the Master, their communion with each other, their communion with the rich natural resources of Mindanao, and their communion with their beloved flock.

Our prayers, moral support and respect to our clergy of Mindanao are expression of our approval of journeying in synodality. We further show them this journey of synodality by not only walking after them but also beside them and before them as doves and snakes being co-workers in the vineyard of the Lord. Yes, priests need priests. But they also need the community of the faithful to equally inspire them as they lead all of us closer to the Lord.
