Msgr. Sarno: 47 Years of Shepherding Grace

The Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish (OLMMP) joyfully celebrated the 47th Sacerdotal Anniversary of Msgr. Maximo Sarno in a simple yet meaningful gathering, initiated by the Parish Coordinating Council (PCC).

Marking 47 years of devoted priestly service across many parishes, Msgr. Sarno’s journey reflects a life fully given in service to God and His people.

As the 4th Parish Priest of OLMMP, he continues to guide the faithful with wisdom, dedication, and pastoral care.

The celebration featured a humble salo-salo, bringing together servant leaders of the parish community in a spirit of gratitude, unity, and thanksgiving for Msgr. Sarno’s enduring ministry.

Reflecting on the vocation of priesthood, the words of St. John Mary Vianney resonated deeply:

“A priest is not a priest for himself; he is a priest for you.”
