2nd Patronal Fiesta of GKK St. John the Baptist
With grateful hearts, the GKK Servant Leaders (GSLs) and members of GKK St. John the Baptist, Robinsons Highlands of Zone 7 joyfully celebrated their 2nd Patronal Fiesta on June 24, 2026 with a theme: “Like St. John the Baptist, be model of unity and faithfulness in service.” The Fiesta Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Orlando A. Angelia, Parish Priest of St. Mary of the Perpetual Rosary Parish at 6:00 o’clock in the evening with Bro. Junifer Francis Valde.
The past year has been a journey of faith, unity and perseverance. While we have experienced challenges and tensions in an effort to construct a chapel for our community, we continue to place our trust in God through our weekly Sunday Mass at Robinsons’ Clubhouse. During the nine days novena, we, especially include in our petition our longing for the realization of our chapel, believing that God will bless this endeavor according to His will.
In his homily, Fr. Orly emphasized that the Chapel possesses a sacred didgnity as a place of worship, where liturgical celebrations are celebrated, faith formation through seminars, and spirituality are nurtured as a way of life. As the chapel represents our desire to strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with the Lord. It is our hope that this sacred legacy will be passed on to our children and future generations, that they may continue to live and share the faith we received.
May this fiesta renew our commitment to Christ and strengthen our community as we journey together in faith.
St. John the Baptist, pray for us! (Clinita Nartea, GKK SoCCom)
