“Magmalipayon Permi sa Serbisyong Libre”: SLRP Disaster Operation Center Construction Continues
The ongoing construction at San Lorenzo Ruiz PDART (Parish Disaster Action Response Team) Talomo base aims to progress and develop their emergency rescue capabilities. The renovated quarters feature a modern transmit center, upgraded equipment, and some emergency kit storage and improved well-training spaces.
At some point, while the job is ongoing, PDART’s emergency rescue services remain fully operational. Their goal to respond and serve was continuous at work, ensuring the help of one’s need will receive consistent and authentic support.
Once concluded, the updated PDART-EAST headquarters will function as a stronghold to accommodate medical and disaster-related emergencies. Improving response teams to surround in times of emergencies, specifically our neighborhoods in the Davao area, and with the coordination with the Local disaster committee.
Commenced with a benediction that happened on June 28, 2026, exactly at 3 p.m., led by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony E. Silvosa together with the PDART members and its officers. Thereafter, the PDART-EAST Headquarters proudly presented its new facility based at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, Talomo, through the initiative of our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony E. Silvosa, he turns over and activated the PDART’s team on their commitment to serving their communities in times of Emergency and Disaster.
The newly operational facility is furnished with Basic emergency and disaster equipment to guarantee high-quality response and the official headquarters of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Disaster Action Response Team (PDART) – Emergency Ancillary and Service Team (EAST).
