The Saint Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary (ReMaSe) of Mindanao being the first major seminary in the southern part of the country is worthy of our continued support and respect as she has produced hundreds of priests. Her alumni who are now assigned in many parishes in Mindanao come home together from August 10 to 12, 2026 to renew their feel of having been formed in their Alma mater and reflect together on their present challenges as pastors on this age of A.I.

ReMaSe’s formation program has developed throughout the past centuries since it’s foundation to answer “the need for a common and shared formation, in which men and women, laity, consecrated persons, ordained ministers and candidates for ordained ministry participate together, thus enabling them to grow together in knowledge and mutual esteem and in the ability to collaborate” (FD 143). Every baptized, need to show concern in whatever way to support ReMaSe.

Let us pray for ReMaSe that those who are involved in the formation of our future priests – clergy, religious and laity, including those of other faiths and religions – may be gifted with the wisdom and strength they need to fulfill their vocation.
