C.O.M.E. Apostolate undergo Catechesis Formation

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish held a Formation Catechesis for the OLLP Children of Mary Evangelizers (C.O.M.E.) Apostolate at the OLLP Gymnasium.

The event was participated by fifty-nine (59) children from the Lectors, Commentators, Choir, and Psalmists (LCCP) and Gift Bearers. The formation aims to inspire children to become evangelizers through their ministry in the church, to overcome their fears, and develop confidence.

The program opened with the Holy Rosary and the Paraliturgy. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Leonides Lallen, School Catechist Coordinator, followed by the presentation of the official members of the OLLP Children Lectors and Commentators.

Dr. Ma. Iris A. Melliza, Ed.D., Guest Speaker, delivered her inspirational message, focusing on overcoming one’s fear in evangelizing the word of God.

The presentation of the official members of the OLLP Children Gift Bearers and Choir followed, along with inspirational messages and inputs delivered by several esteemed speakers coming from the School Catechists and Children’s Music Ministry.

A lecture and training for Lectors, Commentators, and Gift Bearers was given to the children, headed by Ms. Richie Reyes, Trainor for Lectors, Ms. Nemia Gonzales, Ms. Meraflor Bansuing Palar, Trainor for Commentators, and Ms. Farrah Geraldino, Gift Bearers Coordinator.
