Diocesan Pastoral Leaders gather for 2nd DPAM Meeting and Workshop

Diocesan pastoral directors, lay coordinators, members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the 2nd Diocesan Pastoral Assembly of Mati (DPAM), and consultants gathered today for a meeting and workshop aimed at discussing various pastoral concerns and facilitating the preparations for the upcoming assembly.

The activity opened with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Ruben D. Bentayao Jr.,DCM, followed by the words of welcome and recognition of participants by Most Rev. Abel C. Apigo, DD, Bishop of Mati. Dr. Edito B. Sumile, head of the TWG for the 2nd DPAM, then explained the process to guide the participants in the succeeding activities.

The program continued with the breakdown of participants into groups focusing on different pastoral concerns, providing an opportunity for collaborative discussion, consultation, and planning in support of the Church’s pastoral mission.

Through this gathering, the Diocese of Mati continues to foster synodality, shared responsibility, and active participation among clergy and lay faithful in discerning the pastoral needs and priorities of the local Church. (Diocese of Mati)
