Diocese of Digos Hosted the 1st DADITAMA Layko Convention

The Diocese of Digos successfully hosted the 1st DADITAMA Layko Convention on September 26, 2026, at the Fatima Center.

Anchored on the theme “Sentire cum Ecclesia,” the gathering brought together approximately 155 participants, including spiritual directors and lay council members from the dioceses of Davao, Digos, Tagum, and Mati. The day-long program featured a keynote address by Bp. George B. Rimando, D.D, alongside formative talks and spiritual conversation.

The convention formally concluded with a Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Most Rev. Guillermo D. Afable, D.D.

Rooted in shared prayer and reflection, this landmark event serves as an inspiring call for the lay faithful to continually “think and feel with the Church” empowering leaders to actively live out their baptismal calling and carry forward the mission of evangelization. (Sugid)
