The Ones We Will Always Love

On November 2, All Souls’ Day, we will celebrate the life and pray for our loved ones who have passed away. Though, they are no longer with us we remember the impact they have brought into our lives. There are memories of good and bad times. But for sure, one thing will remain, they are the ones we will always love.

Since they are no longer with us, may we continue to imitate their good legacies and share them with our present and future family members.

May we not only cherish our beloved dead during All Souls’ Day, but let us offer personal prayers and mass intentions more often for them.

With our current situations right now, I always wonder how our loved ones would react to social media and the fast paced life we are currently having. What could be their stance with the flood control funds controversy and the current impeachment proceedings of the vice president? Also, can they keep up with the Gen Zs and the Alpha Beta Generations? Those are just some of the unanswered lingering thoughts we will have for them.

Lord, thank you for the life we once shared with our loved ones who already passed away. May their souls rest in peace. May they be in heaven with you and all the saints. May those in purgatory be healed and purified and eventually enter heaven. Amen.
